UtahMeta Privacy Notice
Last updated: September 8, 2026
This notice explains the personal information UtahMeta may collect, why we use it, and the choices available to account holders.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: name, email address, login identifiers, household membership, service selections, seat assignments, and support history.
- Service and device information: device identifiers, IP addresses, login/session records, service usage, playback or application activity needed to operate and secure the service, and diagnostic logs.
- Billing information: product, price, billing status, transaction identifiers, and payment-provider status. UtahMeta does not store full card numbers. Card information is handled by Paddle or other authorized payment providers.
- Customer content: files, photos, media, metadata, or other content a customer chooses to store or process through an enabled UtahMeta service.
2. How we use information
We use personal information to provide and provision services, authenticate users, manage households and seats, process billing, provide support, prevent fraud and abuse, secure systems, troubleshoot failures, improve reliability, and comply with legal obligations.
3. Payment processors
For card payments, Paddle may act as merchant of record and process payment, tax, fraud-prevention, and transaction information under its own privacy terms. Bitcoin payments may be processed through BTCPay Server and the Bitcoin network.
4. Sharing
UtahMeta does not sell customer personal information. We may share information with service providers only as reasonably necessary to operate UtahMeta, process payments, host infrastructure, provide support, prevent abuse, or comply with law. We may also disclose information when required by valid legal process or to protect users, systems, or rights.
5. Retention
We retain account, billing, security, and operational records for as long as reasonably needed to provide services, resolve disputes, maintain security, meet accounting or legal requirements, and enforce agreements. Customer content retention depends on the specific service and account status.
6. Security
UtahMeta uses technical and administrative safeguards intended to protect customer information, including access controls, authentication, service isolation, logging, and secure handling of credentials. No system can guarantee absolute security.
7. Cookies and sessions
The UtahMeta portal may use cookies or browser storage necessary for authentication, session continuity, security, and basic service operation. We do not require advertising cookies to provide the core UtahMeta service.
8. Your choices
Account holders may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information where applicable, subject to security, billing, legal, and record-retention requirements. Requests can be submitted through the UtahMeta support options available in your account.
9. Children
UtahMeta accounts are created and controlled by adult account holders. Household services may be used by family members, but UtahMeta does not knowingly invite children to create their own billing accounts.
10. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice as services or legal requirements change. The current version will remain available at this URL with its update date.
